Parish Seder Meal at Our Lady of Lourdes

Jesus, the Lamb of God, celebrated the Last Supper at Passover time. Participating in a Seder/Passover Liturgy (complete with the ritual foods, lamb and four cups of wine) helps us understand the background for the institution of the Eucharist which we Catholics celebrate on Holy Thursday.

Our Seder Meal, a GIFT (Growing in Faith Together) event, will be held at 5:30pm, March 4th in Knights of Columbus Hall. The donation for adults will be $10 per adult and $6 per child under 12.

Non-alcoholic grape juice will be available. The number of participants will be limited since food must be ordered ahead of time.

Signup sheets will be available in the parish office (620-231-2135). For further information, please call Gary or Fran McGrath 620-231-5410. The Seder takes about 1 ½ to 2 hours.

Please join us in making the Seder Meal part of your Lenten observance. Many people make this event possible including the Altar Society, the Knights of Columbus and Dr. Seglie who cooks delicious lamb. Thank you for participating in this year’s Parish Seder Meal.
